I started tinting in 2000 and spent the next years working for several of the better shops around Birmingham. I learned something different at each one, so by the time I went out on my own I had a broad mix of techniques and installation skills instead of one shop's way of doing things.

At the same time I put in more than ten years in restaurants, from the kitchen to serving to bartending to management. In 2014 I put the two together and opened Tint Pro: top tier installs, and the kind of customer service you get from somebody who spent a decade on the floor of a busy restaurant. Those years also taught me how to run a shop that is comfortable, productive, fair and professional for the people who work in it. You can feel that at the counter.

Trussville came first because it is my home town. I was born and raised there and graduated high school there. Pelham followed six years later, in 2020. The two shops are mirror images of each other, built the same way, stocked with the same film, and held to the same standard on installs and on how you are treated. The point of two was convenience, so that wherever you are in the Birmingham metro one of us is close.

What we sell, and why

Tint Pro sells and installs LLumar film for automotive and architectural glass, and nothing else. Our promise is simple: the highest quality product at a fair market value, backed by a full workmanship guarantee. If we put it on, we stand behind it.

We can tint anything with glass. RVs, heavy equipment, 18-wheelers, boats, fire trucks, houses and businesses have all come through. Honestly, I do not think we get enough credit for the sheer volume of film we install day after day. We treat every vehicle as if it were our own, and our record of installs shows it.
